Coffee is considered to be the most famous beverage in the world and an estimated 2 billion cups of coffee are drunk each morning alone. Coffee is also the second most valuable commodity in the market and second only to oil. With this much popularity and demand it gets me curious where it came from. Legend has it that a goat herder from Ethiopia discovered coffee around 850 AD. Coffee got its first attention when the Arabs started cultivating them in the 15th and 16th century. Eventually it made its way to Italy where the first European coffee house opened in 1645. After that the rest was history
